The #100 Day Project
The 100 Day Project is an online community event organised by Lindsay Jean Thompson.
A free activity where participators choose a project that they will continue for 100 days, posting their progress on social media. Running from the 30th of January to the 11th May.
I was still in the process of developing Hare and Snail and thought it would give me the opportunity to put them in different situations, gaining confidence and strengthening my consistency.
Feeling pretty sure that I'd read 100 books or more, I decided to use that as a base for the illustrations and also do one of my favourite past times, recommending books to read.
Knowing that I would only have a limited time slot each day, each painting is done on Arteza watercolour postcards, keeping the illustration small and uncomplicated.
